You will design and build accessible, clean WordPress websites.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and create functional WordPress websites using semantic HTML and CSS.
• Debug and implement JavaScript to resolve front-end issues.
• Ensure all web content meets WCAG 2.0 AA compliance and ADA markup standards.
• Translate Adobe XD designs into responsive code.
• Manage multiple development tasks and meet project deadlines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in web development.
• Proficiency in coding semantic HTML and CSS.
• Strong JavaScript debugging and implementation skills.
• Proven experience designing and creating WordPress websites.
• Solid understanding of ADA/Accessibility markup and WCAG 2.0 AA best practices.
• Proficiency with Git or similar version control systems.
• Ability to work with Adobe XD designs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with large multisite WordPress networks and Full Site Editing.
• Comfort working in both classic editor and block editor environments.
• Knowledge of PHP and cross-browser development/testing.
