Description

You will manage technical data extraction and mapping activities to support large-scale Workday conversions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Interpret mapping activities into crosswalks and manifest data specifications at the field and table level.
• Develop technical specifications and extract code following performance best practices.
• Execute pre-validation and post-validation activities in coordination with functional leads.
• Resolve conversion issues identified in bug trackers using a prioritized approach.
• Participate in peer code reviews and daily conversion team meetings.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience writing code for technical projects.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL or equivalent languages for writing efficient data extraction logic.
• Experience building and optimizing relational database queries in SQL.
• Strong understanding of Oracle SQL performance tuning, execution plans, and indexing strategies.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle data extraction and ETL processes.
• Experience using source control systems such as Git, GitHub, or SVN.
• Proficiency with tools including Python, SQL*Plus, or Oracle SQL Developer.
• 2+ years of experience specifically with FIN or ERP data.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science.
