Description

You will build, customize, and maintain Workday Extend applications using APIs, UI frameworks, and business process automation.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze requirements from business stakeholders, the EAA-HR Team, and technical teams.
• Design, build, test, and deploy Workday Extend apps using Workday APIs, the Workday UI framework, and the Workday Object Model.
• Customize business processes, create custom pages, and develop integrations following Workday Extend best practices.
• Manage Workday Studio integrations and reporting to support business operations.
• Troubleshoot defects and implement enhancement requests after unit testing and supporting UAT.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on Workday Extend development experience.
• Strong understanding of the Workday HCM module.
• Proficiency in Workday Extend features: App Builder, Extend Presentation Components, Extend Model Components, Extend Orchestration, App Security, PMD Scripting, and Custom Business Processes.
• Experience with REST and SOAP APIs, Workday Studio, and calculated fields.
• Proficiency in Workday Security, Business Process Framework, and Report Writer.
• Knowledge of JSON, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, and/or HTML/CSS for Workday Extend UI components.
• Experience with tenant configuration, deployment, and change management processes.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
