Analyze compensation data and provide recommendations to support workforce planning, retention, and talent strategies.
Assist in compensation governance, audit readiness, and compliance activities.
Support compensation-related integrations and data exchanges with third-party systems.
Post-Go-Live & Production Support
Provide ongoing post-go-live support for payroll and compensation modules.
Investigate and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Track, prioritize, and manage support tickets in accordance with established SLAs.
Perform root-cause analysis and recommend process improvements.
Support change management activities and user adoption initiatives.
GS Onsite Support Responsibilities
Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for payroll and compensation-related support activities.
Partner closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and business stakeholders to address critical operational issues.
Facilitate issue triage sessions, stakeholder meetings, and resolution discussions.
Provide end-user support, training, and guidance on Workday payroll and compensation processes.
Monitor support metrics and ensure timely resolution of high-priority incidents.
Coordinate with offshore, vendor, and project teams to drive resolution of complex issues.
Support UAT activities, business validations, and release readiness assessments.
Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement.
Canadian Payroll Administration
Manage end-to-end Canadian payroll processes, including new hires, terminations, transfers, status changes, and payroll adjustments within Workday.
Ensure accurate calculation of wages, taxes, deductions, benefits, and statutory contributions in compliance with Canadian federal and provincial regulations.
Support payroll processing activities and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees, managers, and HR partners.
Conduct regular payroll audits and reconciliations to maintain data accuracy and compliance.
Support year-end payroll activities, including T4, T4A, and other statutory reporting requirements.
Monitor legislative changes and recommend or implement required payroll updates.
Workday Payroll & System Support
Configure and maintain Workday payroll business processes, security roles, and reporting solutions.
Troubleshoot payroll system issues and coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and Workday support as required.
Participate in testing, validation, and deployment of Workday enhancements, patches, and releases.
Create and maintain system documentation, process guides, and knowledge articles.
Develop and generate standard and ad hoc reports to support payroll operations and decision-making.

Proven experience in Canadian Payroll Administration with strong knowledge of CRA regulations and provincial payroll legislation.
Strong understanding of payroll controls, compliance, and audit processes.
Experience supporting payroll and compensation operations in a production support environment.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working within SaaS implementation and support projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
Workday Compensation certifications.
PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) certification or equivalent.
Experience in global support models and onsite-offshore collaboration.
Knowledge of HRIS integrations and downstream payroll interfaces.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
