Description

You will design, develop, and maintain Workday integrations, translating business requirements into technical solutions. This role owns the full lifecycle of inbound and outbound data flows, ensuring performance, security, and adherence to best practices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement integrations using Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, and Web Services.
• Develop custom utilities and automation scripts in Java to support integration workflows.
• Analyze business requirements to create data mapping, transformation, and validation logic.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Finance teams to deliver and support integration solutions in production.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Integration development.
• Proficiency in Java programming for integration logic and custom tools.
• Strong SQL development skills and database knowledge.
• Experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services (WWS).
• Practical experience building and consuming REST and SOAP APIs.
• Working knowledge of XML, XSLT, and JSON for data transformation.
• Ability to clear a Karat Technical Assessment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefits, or Finance modules.
• Familiarity with middleware platforms like MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Informatica.
