Description

Design, develop, and support complex integrations between Workday and third-party systems using Workday Studio and APIs.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and build complex custom integrations using Workday Studio for scenarios where EIBs or Core Connectors are insufficient.
• Utilize Workday Web Services (REST/SOAP APIs) to facilitate seamless data exchange with external systems.
• Collaborate with clients to gather detailed business requirements and serve as a trusted advisor on integration architecture and security.
• Execute comprehensive integration testing, troubleshoot defects, and ensure system reliability during go-live and maintenance.
• Create technical design documents for inbound and outbound integrations while ensuring data integrity and compliance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with Workday integration technologies.
• Deep hands-on expertise in Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs), and Core Connectors.
• Strong proficiency in XML, XSLT, and MVEL for data transformation and logic.
• Experience with Java for data manipulation and integration logic.
• Proven ability to work with REST and SOAP APIs.
• Strong understanding of Workday security, business processes (HR/Finance), and data structures.
• Consulting skills with experience in client-facing roles, managing deliverables, and escalating risks.

Preferred Skills

• Workday Integration certification, with preference for Studio certification.
• Experience integrating Workday with HCM, Payroll, Benefits, and Finance modules.
