You will own the validation, configuration, and testing of Workday Payroll implementations for US, Canada, and Expat payrolls.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Identify root causes in requirements, design, and implementation phases, proposing actionable solutions to vendors and internal HR teams.
• Conduct gap analyses between business operations and vendor configurations, detecting logic issues and blockers early.
• Perform hands-on reviews of vendor documents against legacy systems, inspecting Workday configurations directly to validate system behaviors.
• Issue correction requests to vendors and verify successful implementation without relying solely on completion reports.
• Review test designs, execute UAT and payroll parallel runs, and track defect resolution to ensure company-specific requirements are met.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience, including at least 2 end-to-end Workday implementation projects for multinational companies.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting Workday Payroll.
• 4+ years of experience testing Workday implementations, including E2E test cases and payroll parallel testing.
• Deep expertise in US, Canadian, and Expat payroll processing, including statutory labor, tax laws, and social insurance.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear specifications for vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Proven track record working as a Payroll Domain Leader at an implementation vendor.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with 3-year tenure in previous roles.
