Description

Lead and coordinate Workday Financial Management and Procurement projects, including implementations, enhancements, and integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full lifecycle project leadership for Workday Financials modules, including General Ledger, AP/AR, Asset Management, and Procurement.
  • Partner with Finance and Procurement business owners to align system design with accounting policies, purchasing workflows, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with functional leads, integration developers, and vendors to deliver scalable, compliant solutions.
  • Track configuration, data conversion, integrations, security roles, and end-to-end testing cycles.
  • Facilitate business process assessments for Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Record-to-Report (R2R) workflows.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or specialized training.
  • PMP certification from PMI or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience leading moderate to high complexity projects (within the last 7 years).
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience leading server-based application development or enhancement projects (within the last 5 years).
  • Proficiency in MS Project, MS Visio, SharePoint 2013, and MS O365.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, procurement workflows, and financial reporting structures.
  • Experience with ERP integrations.

Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on familiarity with Workday Financial Management and Workday Procurement Management.
  • Experience leading vendor-managed projects within the last 3 years.
  • Executive-level written and oral communication skills.
