Description

You will design, implement, and optimize enterprise financial solutions using Workday Financials, primarily for Higher Education, Public Sector, Healthcare, and Not-for-Profit organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements validation, gap analysis, and solution design for scalable Workday Financials implementations.
• Configure and optimize Core Financials, Banking & Settlements, Accounting Center, Revenue Management, Contracts-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, and Grants & Projects.
• Optimize Grants Management including Pre/Post Award, Effort, Subawards, Salary Cap, and Budget Plans.
• Lead ERP migrations from legacy systems (e.g., PeopleSoft to Workday) and design integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, BIRT, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Deliver advanced reporting, dashboards, and Prism Analytics while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and federal grant regulations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of ERP experience, including 7+ years specifically with Workday Financials.
• Active Workday Financials certifications (valid through 2025 R1 preferred).
• Deep expertise in integrations, reporting, Prism Analytics, and Extend.
• Proven experience in regulated environments (public sector, higher ed, grants).
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, federal grant regulations, and industry standards.
• Ability to guide security, data governance, and Foundation Data Model (FDM) design.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with multi-tenant Workday Financials deployments.
• Accounting Center design for cash-basis reporting.
• Large-scale legacy ERP migrations.
