Description

You will configure, optimize, and maintain the Workday ecosystem, focusing on HCM, Recruiting, and Time Off modules while driving AI and automation initiatives.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Drive hands-on configuration and optimization of Workday HCM, Recruiting, Dashboards, and Time Off/Absence Management.
• Utilize Workday Extend to build AI-integrated solutions with custom external tools and agentic platforms.
• Design and maintain operational dashboards in Workday and Tableau to deliver critical business insights.
• Partner with People Operations teams to identify automation opportunities and simplify administrative processes.
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders, acting as a trusted consultant for People technology.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of progressive experience in HRIS or People Technology with extensive Workday configuration.
• Deep expertise in Workday HCM (Core), Recruiting, Dashboards, and Time Off/Absence Management.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for Workday Extend UI design and client-side logic.
• Strong skills in XML, XSLT, and Workday Studio for building third-party system connections and SOAP APIs.
• Experience with AI and automation, including writing prompts for generative AI systems (e.g., ChatGPT, Glean).
• Ability to build complex analyses and automations using Google Sheets or Excel.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools.
• Strong analytical mindset with a history of challenging the status quo to improve efficiency.
