Description

Manage workload automation initiatives, batch operations, and business application support in Kuala Lumpur.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute BAU activities including daily environment health checks, job monitoring, and incident investigation.
• Design and implement automation solutions based on business requirements.
• Manage license usage control and reporting for automation tools.
• Maintain environment security through vulnerability management, patching, and fixes.
• Support shift work requirements for operational continuity.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience working with workload automation environments.
• Mandatory expertise with BMC Control-M.
• Proficiency in UNIX and Windows operating systems for administrative tasks.
• Experience with Jobs-As-Code using JSON for defining and managing scheduled jobs.
• Hands-on experience with Control-M APIs and REST APIs for external system integration.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for Control-M environment commissioning and decommissioning.
• Competency in scripting and file transfer protocols.
• Understanding of network connectivity, firewall rules, and business continuity/disaster recovery.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with pipeline automation.
• Knowledge of AS/400 environments.
