Description

Provide face-to-face IT support to end users at the Connect IT Bar within the HMRC Regional Centre.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical support for PCs, laptops, Surface Pro devices, telephony, and local peripherals.
  • Maintain meeting room AV setups and perform regular operational checks.
  • Manage and execute local moves and changes on site.
  • Support network devices and assist third-party vendors on site.
  • Build relationships with end users to identify and resolve technical issues proactively.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in IT support roles.
  • Proficiency with Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Office and Office 365.
  • Hands-on experience with PC/Laptop hardware and Surface Pro devices.
  • Knowledge of network devices.
  • Ability to travel within a defined geography to support home workers or other sites.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and personal organization.

  • Degree in any discipline.
