Provide face-to-face IT support to end users at the Connect IT Bar within the HMRC Regional Centre.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical support for PCs, laptops, Surface Pro devices, telephony, and local peripherals.
- Maintain meeting room AV setups and perform regular operational checks.
- Manage and execute local moves and changes on site.
- Support network devices and assist third-party vendors on site.
- Build relationships with end users to identify and resolve technical issues proactively.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in IT support roles.
- Proficiency with Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Office and Office 365.
- Hands-on experience with PC/Laptop hardware and Surface Pro devices.
- Knowledge of network devices.
- Ability to travel within a defined geography to support home workers or other sites.
- Strong problem-solving skills and personal organization.
Education
- Degree in any discipline.
