Description

Design, architect, and manage Oracle Session Border Controller (SBC) systems to ensure optimal performance and security within the voice infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design Oracle SBC architectures and call flows that meet technical and business requirements.
• Manage system upgrades, load testing, and regression testing to ensure stability.
• Monitor contact center infrastructure for capacity, availability, and performance.
• Execute incident, change, and event management procedures.
• Develop or integrate software tools to extract metrics for proactive system monitoring.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Oracle SBC technology.
• Deep knowledge of telephony protocols including SIP, TCP/IP, H323, and QoS.
• Experience integrating SBCs with cloud platforms like Microsoft Teams, Webex Calling, and Zoom.
• Proficiency with monitoring and visualization tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
• Expertise using Oracle Enterprise Operations Monitor (EOM) for real-time troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of VoIP technologies.
• Ability to analyze and solve complex technical challenges.
• Certification in collaboration engineering, SBC, or Unified Communications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with system SLX and metric extraction tools.
