Description

Design and develop Oracle Retail POS applications using Java/J2EE within an Agile environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and build retail point-of-sale applications using JAVA/J2EE frameworks.
• Develop and manage API integrations using SOAP, RESTful, and JSON protocols.
• Perform systems analysis, architecture design, and unit testing throughout the SDLC.
• Debug complex technical issues and communicate solutions to business stakeholders.
• Manage code repositories and build pipelines using SVN, GIT, Maven, Gradle, or Jenkins.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle Retail POS, Oracle Xstore POS, or GK POS development.
• 7+ years of total professional software development experience.
• Extensive experience with JAVA/J2EE and Object-oriented programming.
• Deep understanding of SOLID principles.
• Proficiency in designing API integrations via SOAP, RESTful, and JSON.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with build tools such as Maven, Gradle, or Jenkins.
• Knowledge of version control systems including SVN or GIT.

Preferred Skills

• Strong fundamentals in systems analysis and architecture.
