Description

Design, implement, and manage Zabbix monitoring solutions for complex enterprise environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable Zabbix monitoring architectures based on assessed requirements.
• Develop Zabbix templates and triggers to monitor CPU, memory, disk space, and system services.
• Integrate Zabbix with ServiceNow to automate ticket creation and incident management workflows.
• Configure high availability, redundancy, and maintenance periods to ensure continuous monitoring uptime.
• Document configurations and provide technical guidance on backup strategies and troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Zabbix Architect or in a similar monitoring architecture role.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Zabbix installation, configuration, and administration.
• Proven ability to integrate Zabbix with ServiceNow or similar ITSM ticketing systems.
• Expertise in creating and managing complex Zabbix templates and triggers.
• Hands-on experience monitoring VMware and vCenter environments.
• Proficiency with Windows and RedHat operating systems.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation and custom integrations.
• Strong understanding of high availability and redundancy patterns for monitoring systems.

Preferred Skills

• Zabbix Specialist certification.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
• Experience with additional monitoring tools and frameworks.
