Description

You will administer and maintain DB2 environments on z/OS, ensuring system stability and compliance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage DB2 z/OS and DB2 LUW installations, configuration, tuning, and monitoring.
• Handle data compliance requirements, including PCI/PII data masking and encryption.
• Manage DB2 system objects and enforce security using RACF, CA/ACF2, or Top Secret.
• Administer DB2 Connect and IBM DB2 replication products like Infosphere/CDC tools.
• Utilize DB2 monitoring tools such as Omegamon XE, TMON, or BMC Mainview.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of total professional experience.
• 7-10 years of relevant DB2 DBA experience.
• Proficiency in DB2 administration on OS/390.
• Experience with core z/OS utilities: JES2, JES3, SMP/E, SDSF, TSO/ISPF, and JCL.
• Knowledge of RACF/ACF2 usage related to DB2 security.
• Familiarity with Unix System Services and PARMLIB/PROCLIB customization.
• Experience with data handling procedures for PCI/PII compliance.
• Ability to work with ISV tools for DB2 installation and configuration.
