Description

You will integrate Java applications within the z/OS mainframe environment, managing data flow and system connectivity.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Integrate Java components with z/OS mainframe systems.
• Develop and maintain integrations using core mainframe technologies.
• Manage data flow between systems using messaging queues.
• Apply DevOps practices to streamline integration workflows.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java development.
• Hands-on experience with z/OS and IBM mainframe environments.
• Working knowledge of COBOL and VSAM.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like SAS Scripting and REXX.
• Understanding of data streaming technologies like Kafka.
• Knowledge of JCL and MQ.
