Description

You will manage the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of z/OS mainframe systems in a remote USA-based role.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and customize ISV software tools within a multi-system z/OS environment.
• Provide SA/390 automation support and monitor system status to proactively prevent issues.
• Manage problem report tracking and resolution using IBM and ISV online tools.
• Participate in periodic disaster recovery exercises to maintain system readiness.
• Join a 24x7 on-call rotation to ensure high system availability and problem resolution.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe system programming.
• Hands-on experience with SA/390 automation support.
• Proficiency in managing ISV software tools in multi-system environments.
• Experience supporting Infrastructure, IT Operations, and IT Production Support teams.
• Knowledge of hardware configuration and disaster recovery procedures.
• Experience supporting Application Development environments.
• Ability to manage problem reports via IBM and ISV online tools.
