Description

You will manage and maintain z/OS Communication Server for SNA and TCP/IP across multi-LPAR environments. You will lead data center migration projects by designing and implementing complex network layouts and disaster recovery configurations.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support VTAM, EE, LU, CSSMTP, DNS, NSLOOKUP, and USS functionalities.
• Secure communications through TLS configuration, encryption, certificate management, and policy agent settings.
• Manage printer systems using Spool and VPS for document processing.
• Design disaster recovery configurations focusing on TCP/IP, DNS, and hostnames.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical network issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with z/OS Communication Server SNA and TCP/IP in multi-LPAR environments.
• Expertise in VTAM, EE, LU, CSSMTP, DNS, NSLOOKUP, and USS.
• Hands-on experience with TLS, encryption, and certificate management.
• Proficiency with Spool and VPS for printer configuration.
• Experience supporting ISV products including Connect Direct, Mailbox, and Session Manager.
• Proven ability in data center migration and network layout architecture.
• Experience with disaster recovery planning for network layouts and hostnames.
