Description

Manage, optimize, and secure the z/OS network environment within multi-LPAR architectures.

Responsibilities

• Manage z/OS Communication Server for SNA and TCP/IP in multi-LPAR environments.
• Lead data center migration projects, including the design and implementation of network layouts.
• Configure and support VTAM, EE, LU, CSSMTP, DNS, NSLOOKUP, and USS functionalities.
• Secure communications by configuring TLS, managing encryption, certificates, and Policy Agent settings.
• Implement disaster recovery configurations focusing on network layouts, TCP/IP, DNS, and hostnames.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in z/OS networking.
• Expertise in z/OS Communication Server, SNA, and TCP/IP.
• Deep knowledge of VTAM, EE, LU, CSSMTP, DNS, NSLOOKUP, and USS.
• Hands-on experience with TLS, encryption, certificate management, and Policy Agent.
• Proven experience in data center migration and network layout architecture.
• Experience configuring printer systems using Spool and VPS.
• Proficiency with Session Manager and multi-session configurations.
• Ability to support ISV products including Connect Direct and Mailbox.
