Description

You will manage z/OS Communication Server for SNA and TCP/IP within multi-LPAR environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead data center migration projects, including the design and implementation of complex network layouts.
• Configure and support VTAM, EE, LU, CSSMTP, DNS, NSLOOKUP, and USS functionalities.
• Manage secure communications by configuring TLS, encryption, certificates, and Policy Agent settings.
• Maintain printer systems using Spool and VPS for document processing.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support to resolve critical network issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with z/OS Communication Server SNA and TCP/IP in multi-LPAR environments.
• Expertise in data center migration and network layout architecture.
• Technical proficiency in VTAM, EE, LU, CSSMTP, DNS, NSLOOKUP, and USS.
• Hands-on experience with TLS, encryption, certificate management, and Policy Agent.
• Experience configuring printer systems using Spool and VPS.
• Proficiency in session manager and multi-session configurations.
• Ability to support network-related ISV products such as connecting direct, mailbox, and session manager.

Preferred Skills

• Proven experience in disaster recovery configuration for TCP/IP, DNS, and hostnames.
