Description

You will maintain and optimize the mainframe environment through system administration and hardware refresh projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform z/OS upgrades (v2.4, 2.5, or 3.1) using z/OSMF workflows.
• Support hardware refresh projects across z14, z15, and z16 platforms.
• Manage software maintenance and upgrades for Broadcom and IBM tools via SMP/E.
• Build and manage hardware configurations using IODF, HCD, HMC, and IOCP.
• Develop automation solutions using REXX and CLIST scripting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in z/OS system administration.
• Expertise in z/OS upgrades (2.4, 2.5, or 3.1) via z/OSMF.
• Hands-on experience with zHardware refresh (z14, z15, z16).
• Proficiency with SMP/E for IBM and Broadcom tool maintenance.
• Technical knowledge of IODF, HCD, HMC, and IOCP.
• Experience managing core subsystems: JES2, ISPF, TCP/IP, USS, and Parallel Sysplex.
• Automation skills using REXX and CLIST.
• Proven experience in Disaster Recovery management.
