You will maintain and optimize the mainframe environment, ensuring system reliability and managing hardware lifecycles.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute z/OS upgrades (versions 2.4, 2.5, or 3.1) using z/OSMF workflows.
• Support zHardware refresh projects across z14, z15, and z16 platforms.
• Manage software maintenance and upgrades for Broadcom and IBM tools using SMP/E.
• Configure new hardware using IODF, HCD, HMC, and IOCP.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support and manage Disaster Recovery procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in z/OS system administration.
• Deep expertise with z/OS upgrades using z/OSMF workflows.
• Hands-on experience with zHardware refresh projects (z14, z15, z16).
• Proficiency in SMP/E for IBM and Broadcom tool maintenance.
• Technical knowledge of IODF, HCD, HMC, and IOCP for hardware configuration.
• Experience managing JES2, ISPF, TCP/IP, USS, and Parallel Sysplex.
• Scripting skills in REXX and CLIST for system automation.
• Proven ability to support Disaster Recovery and critical system recovery.

Preferred Skills

• Availability for 24/7 on-call rotation.
