Description

You own the administration and maintenance of the mainframe environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for IBM mainframe and z/OS.
• Install, configure, and maintain z/OS and third-party tools (CA, BMC, Endevor, TopSecret, etc.).
• Perform CICS administration, system tuning, and capacity planning.
• Manage mainframe storage, tape systems, and DR planning/testing.
• Support system upgrades, patches, and performance optimization.

Required Skills

• 10+ years experience as a Mainframe Systems Programmer in large-scale environments.
• Expertise in IBM z/OS and CICS.
• Experience with mainframe hardware, storage, and tape management.
• Strong background in system upgrades, DR, and capacity planning.
• Familiarity with IDMS, security tools, and workload management.
• Proven ability to lead complex infrastructure projects.
• Experience ensuring security and compliance across mainframe systems.
