  Job Description
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
** Evaluates HR and Business Development**s needs, objectives, and goals. Providing well-defined plans to the IT Manager. Responsible for all activities related to configurations changes to Oracle Business processes, including tracking, researching and resolving all change control requests.
** Be able to work with HR for the HR Modules implemented which include HR, HR intelligence, advanced benefits iRecruitment and HR Self Services.
** Contributes to and supports IT strategy and business initiatives; Manage and sustain the IT support model.
** Develops, implements, maintains, and ensures regulatory agency compliance for computer systems as related to receiving, materials management, formulation and production management, clinical distribution, and technical training.
** Provide coordination of related systems issues with responsible Systems management and/or responsible support resources. Plan and manage database projects and communicate results to the IT Database Manager.
** Advise functional area leaders on current and anticipated system capabilities that may enhance business processes for current or proposed business practices.
** Maintain a broad understanding of both Oracle ERP capabilities and company-wide business practices.
** Maintain a basic understanding of programming and system administration of Oracle ERP.
** Plan database architecture, implement new databases, and implement and maintain database security.
** Monitor the company databases through in-place database monitoring tools available.
** Coach and direct IT personnel to ensure adherence to departmental and personal goals.
** Maintain awareness of changing trends and regulations in the industry that affect the department and the Company. Ensure continuous compliance with standards and guidelines as set by regulatory agencies and the company.
** Must be available for upgrades, trouble shooting and Information Technology problems or projects that may occur after traditional office hours. This would include after hours on-call availability.
** Work with site and IT Management to determine IT needs and insure tasks are prioritized to meet business needs.

Education and/or Experience
** B.A./B.S. in Computer Science or related field
** Five or more years of computer database related experience
** Experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry a plus.
** Familiarity with Oracle applications a Must
** Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite OPM, Linux and Windows Server Databases.
** Must have strong Mathematical and Reasoning skills
** Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry,
** Ideal candidate will have excellent Language and communication skills
** Project management skills.
