Job Description :-

Client is seeking SAP Basis Administrator. The SAP BASIS position is to work within the existing support team providing day-to-day skills in both R/3 and BI(BW) landscapes in both production and development systems.

Responsibilities of the SAP BASIS Administrator include performing SAP System and client copies, trouble shooting system problems, proactively implementing processes and procedures to avoid unplanned outages, configuring and managing the Transport Management System, providing on-call production support and after hours maintenance.

Duties also to include 3rd party product evaluation, installation and support, spool management, batch job scheduling, participation in kernel, support stack and upgrade projects as well as support of remote and local team members and end users. Must be able to field requests from the novice SAP user to the experienced Subject Matter Expert.
This position requires a strong team player with excellent communication skills, good knowledge transfer capabilities and the ability to plan, adapt and commit to deadlines.

Requirements :-

Education Required :- BA or BS.
Desired: BA or BS in Information Management or Computer Science or other related field.
Work Experience Required :- 2-4 years experience in an SAP technical support role, with a working knowledge of SAP BASIS Technologies to include : TMS/CTS, system log analysis, performance troubleshooting, production oncall support, R/3 Release 4.7 or above hands on. Desired: Support Stack application, Upgrade experience, Archiving background, Solution Manager experience, JAVA engine experience, ALE configuration experience, NETWEAVER fluency, portals exposure, LDAP exposure, BW 3.5 or above hands on.
