Job Description and Requirements

Our client a well established financial organization is currently seeking a Sr. IT Network Service Administrator at their St. Louis Park office.

Provide administration and technical support for the business and users with reference to the network (LAN/WAN), UNIX, transmissions, IT equipment and software, access /user accounts and client services via Service Desk. Deliver front line support and resolution, including tracking and reporting via an incident management tracking tool.

- Administration of all operational technologies e.g. Windows Operating Systems (Windows NT4/2000 XP), Exchange.
- Administration of PC / desktop architecture.
- Maintain backups of all files while conforming to corporate records retention guidelines.
- Manage storage usage, network printing, e-mails and internet access.
- Establish and maintain network user accounts, user environments, directory structures and access rights.
- Develop and provide DR procedures and support.
- Troubleshooting to identify cause of incidents, problem resolution and policy / process development and implementation to address issues and improve performance.
- Development and maintenance of SLAs associated with support and maintenance of applications, processes and servicing customers.
- Ensure all IT requests and incidents are prioritized and progressed in accordance with procedures. To manage, monitor and track progress of assigned calls and providing feedback to users. To ensure all incidents and requests are dealt with in accordance with SLA*s and reported appropriately.
- Comply with the information security policy and procedures. Comply with all regulatory procedures applicable to the role. Report any information security incident, weakness or malfunction

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor Degree and meet the following qualifications:

* Experience supporting a Windows NT4/2000/XP environment.
* Knowledge and exposure to MS Office products, Exchange and Outlook.
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
* Thorough understanding of PC/desktop architecture.
* Experience in a customer facing IT support/service delivery role.
* Basic understanding of TCP/IP protocol.
