FLEX PROGRAMMER
NYC Area
Our client, a NYC based start-up company is developing a cutting-edge product for the social media industry. This unique product redefines the boundaries of content sharing and social networking by enabling users to share video, photos and more, in a synchronized way, while video chatting.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Flex Programmer who wants to be part of a new and exciting company, with the opportunity for growth, to handle the following responsibilities:
• Programming tasks directly related to User Interfaces
• Liaise with designers, developers and investors to implement new UI features
• Write code that is clear, clean, readable, portable, reliable and manageable
Requirements:
• At least 1-2 years Flex
• 1-2 years development experience with front-end web development technologies including: PHP, MySQL, HTML, JavaScript
• Experience with XML
• Front-end GUI experience
• Experience with end-user paradigms for web and desktop applications
• Experience with APIs
• Strong written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Positive, self-starting, team-oriented attitude
• Fast learner
• Demonstrate interest in social networking industry (social networking industry experience is a plus)
• Must be legally authorized or able to obtain legal authorization to work in US
Reports to: RandD Project Manager
Education: BS in Computer Science
Location of office: NYC
Compensation: based on experience and prior earnings, plus benefits.
