Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Application Consultant (ERP Systems) are:
* Participate in new ERP implementations including:
* Configure ERP modules per design specification
* Test ERP configuration using Pilot systems
* Conduct end user training
* Migrate data from previous system to new ERP system utilizing data migration tools
* Design FRx financial reports (PandL and Balance Sheets)
* Prepare implementation documentation
* Support existing clients in all aspects of their ERP application including add-on modules, new reports, troubleshooting errors, additional training to new client employees.
Requirements:
Suitable candidates must have:
* A bachelors degree in accounting or computer information systems
* Experience with an ERP package such as Great Plains, MAS500, Solomon or other similar ERP packages
* Good communication skills as this position would be a Client facing position.
* Positive attitude to Customer service
* Desire to learn new technologies and willingness to become certified on ERP applications
* Strong desire for professional development
The following skills would be a plus but are not required:
* Experience working with Financial, Job Costing, Distribution or Manufacturing ERP modules.
* A consulting background
* Technical skills (MS Office, SQL, report writing, integration tools, installation)
