Description:
The Account Executive is responsible for identifying, developing and closing business opportunities, developing long-term customer relationships, leading proposal development efforts, and other related sales activities. The successful candidate will be a driver. S/he will run with initiatives and be comfortable controlling meetings as soon as they enter a room. S/he will have a thorough understanding of consultative sales and will be able to build close, trusting relationships in all professional and social settings.

The successful Account Executive will possess: Minimum of 5 years experience in database, data warehousing or BI space in designated markets. Recent new business development experience in opening new major accounts
C, VP and D-level established relationships within the DW or BI community.

Understanding of current concepts, solutions and environments, especially in business intelligence, data warehousing environments, large scale computer systems, RDBMS, ETL and enterprise Software.

5+ years experience carrying a quota in a technology sector, preferably with services.

Excellent time management, written, verbal and presentation skills.

Ability to demonstrate an immediate, positive impact on sales.

Successful candidates must have:
5+ years quota carrying sales within technology sector
Bachelors degree
Effective negotiation and closing techniques to secure profitable business.
Superior presentation and communication skills
Must be a professional sales person with a proven track record
Must have the desire and experience to be successful
Experience with a formal sales process
Ability to forecast accurately
Possess strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
Consistently exceed selling quotas

This is a full-time opportunity with a base salary + commission. We have a great benefits package that includes medical/dental insurance, retirement plan, and three weeks of vacation.
