  Job Description
We are looking for :-

Lead Engineer

This Lead Systems Engineer position sits within the Operations and Engineering department, providing advanced support for all server, systems and network infrastructure which is used to provide to Managed IT Services to customers. Youll also be expected to have some input into the design / development of all underlying backbone infrastructure that supports these products and services.

From the set up, configuration and implementation of services through to systems administration and advanced 3rd line support, this role will be engaged at a high level of technical competency throughout the solution lifecycle and across the solutions architecture. You will be tasked with managing and delivering the implementation of new customer / internal solutions and provide maintenance / upgrades of the companies core infrastructure when needed.

In order to be considered for this position candidates must have excellent demonstrable working experience within a Managed Service / Hosting Provider and have solid technical exposure to Cloud computing, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS or other Virtualised environments.

Technical competency should include exposure to some of the following: Citrix Xen Server 5.5/5.6, Unix, Linux, RedHat, Debian, CentOS, Gentoo etc, VMware vSphere and ESX 4.0/4.1, CentOS 5.5, Hypervisor, Windows Automation, Linux Automation, Apache server, Tomcat server, Dell Hardware / EQ storage, HP Servers, Heartbeat/NFS/Load Balancing, Security OS level and general Network diagnostic and troubleshooting.
