  Job Description
looking for an IT Governance and Compliance Lead for this International Music Company with the responsibility for leading the Governance and IT SOX efforts.

The Core team is a team of 5-7 but indirectly you will be managing a team of 30+ including people management, so you need to be able to influence.

There will be travel which could be 25% to 50%, and you will be both initiating these projects as well as picking up the reins on some already started.

You must have experience with global compliance initiatives.

In addition to managing compliance with governance standards, you will also assist in identifying process improvement opportunities and champion these initiatives to a successful implementation.

You will be a "center of excellence" for governance and ensure company standards are adopted to local needs.

Duties include ensuring that all infrastructure areas and applications are compliant with established governance practices, current Sarbanes-Oxley standards and IT policies and procedures.

Providing standards, managing Sarbanes-Oxley testing and preparing yearly external audits, checking risks and managing controls.
You need 10yrs+ with various IT environments incl AS400, SAP, Oracle, Unix and Windows with 5+ yrs IT/Financial audit experience, preferably in a Big 4 firm or similar.
