-- The .Net developer contractor must have excellent communication skills, knowledge of web technology, able to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
-- Public facing web site experience and web usability knowledge are highly recommended.
-- This person would be working 40 hours a week, depending on project timelines.
Summary:
We are looking for a Web developer contractor that has the following mandatory experience :-
-- VB.Net 1.1 and 2.0, Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, SQL Server 2000/2005 (working with stored procedures to improve performance/test), HTML, Javascript, AJAX, and XML.
-- Consumer web site experience and web usability knowledge are highly recommended.
Tasks and Deliverables :-
* Work on consumer web sites like Cheerios.com, MyFruitRollups.com, and FiberOne.com.
* Development work will be mainly for the upcoming content releases as well as classic ASP/.NET 1.1 to .NET 2.0 conversions as well as the MyFruitRollUps redesign.
* The developer in this position should be able to work with different tools and technologies, be able to troubleshoot production issues, and handle QA/testing tasks for smaller updates independently.
