  Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
* Lead the definition, development and documentation of core support processes and procedures for administering the SAP technical environment.
* Manage the day to day SAP Basis administration and operations support activities including transports, printing, systems monitoring and problem resolution
* Serve as the key interface and technical project manager to SAP COE and coordinate project requests and task execution, such as client copy, system/database refresh, etc
* Oversee overall SAP security architecture as well as the day to day operations and maintenance of SAP security.
* Configure SAP Transport management System to automate SAP configuration and code promotion within and across the SAP system landscape.
* Develop SAP backup and recovery and Disaster Recovery Planning strategy.

Position Competencies:
* BS or equivalent is required. MS is preferred.
* Candidate should have minimum of 7 years of experience in IT, within at least 5 years in SAP Basis, and with 2 or more years in technical leadership roles.
* Candidate should have experience with global SAP mplementation and support.
* Extensive experience in SAP Basis for R/3, BW, APO, and Solution Manager; experience with CRM and Enterprise Portal is a plus.
* Working knowledge of IBM/AIX and DB2/UDB; Strong Unix and database administration background is preferred.
* Working knowledge in computer and network security;
* Working knowledge of ABAP/4;
* Experience SAP Add-ons and Bolt-on, such as interface to fax, EDI, etc, is a plus.
