  Job Description
Key Objectives:
· Achieve the (current) sales target of £200k gross profit from the sale of software licenses in the current Financial Year, this is reviewed annually (commission is paid on the sale of consulting services but this does not contribute towards your GP sales target)
· Maintain an account plan, articulating the approach to delivering your sales target
· Maintaining a forecast pipeline in our CRM solution, ensuring that all customer and opportunity details are kept up to date, and including SCOTSMAN methodology for larger sales opportunities
· Proactively contact every account at least once per annum or more as per your account plan
· Understand the current and future requirements of your accounts and increase the footprint of our client.
· Have a very good understanding of all relevant 3rd party products
· Be responsible for developing your own demonstration skills and know when to call for assistance from a shared pool of pre-sales resource
· Respond to enquiries quickly (our customer SLA for response within Account Management is 24 hours) and efficiently and provide feedback to cultivate the rest of the team
· Once a sale is made, ensure a smooth handover to the projects team
· Provide the highest level of customer service and technical expertise to customers at all times
· You may be required to attend exhibitions, host seminars, present sales ideas or attend meetings in support of other salespeople which may include several nights away from home
· Be prepared to organise case studies, telephone reference sites or site visits for either you own or other team member's prospects

Essential Skills:
· Previous experience should consist of a proven track record of selling solutions including HCM, Talent Management and Payroll. Applications will not be accepted without experience of sales of these specific business solutions
· Based in location that facilitates travel to a national account base
· Solutions led software sales track record where the ability to sell a solution to a business problem outweighs your ability to sell a product through the demonstration of its features
· A motivated self-starter, who consistently demonstrates an enthusiastic, never give up, attitude
· Ability and willingness to work independently or as a team
· Excellent communication skills with an ability to build rapport at all levels of an organisation
· Persuasive and compelling in expressing ideas and concepts
· Strong written communication skills with an attention to details
· Have good administration skills: you will be required to keep GoldMine up to date with pre-sales information and complete FocalPoint feedback functions to ensure good sales reporting
· Remain calm and polite at all times, even under intense pressure
· Excellent computer skills specifically with Microsoft Office
· Have a full driving licence
