  Job Description

* Provide complete support for all Global Operations systems, including escalation level support,
* Coordination with vendors and customers, software installations and technical documentation.
* Provide on-call service and support on rotational basis for Global Operations Group 24X7 basis.
* Create technical operations and end user support documentation.
* Provide technical analysis expertise and diagnosis of all problems that arise within the Global Group.
* Establish testing environments for Global Operations Application Systems.
* Responsible for developing and managing technical aspects of web design.
* Working with business consultants and developers/programmers to create integrated support and web solutions.
* Fully understand the Web technology used in the supported applications.
* Identify application issues that may arise and propose changes or support activities to circumvent such issues.
* Supporting the production applications to ensure that performance levels are optimized.
* Reacting to and resolving tickets that arise as a result of issues reported in the supported applications.
* Management of tickets and project work to meet Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and deadlines in each area of responsibility.


A successful candidate will possess the following skills and behaviours:

* Bachelor´s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
* 2+ years experience in a Tier III (Applications) support position.
* SharePoint 2003 Administration and Support - administration, security functionality,
* Areas, sites, site collections, work spaces, search, document libraries etc.
* Experience with SQL database environments.
* Hands-on experience providing technical support for Windows Operating Systems.
* Web experience - Javascript, VB Script, .Net Framework.
* Ability to work well in a team environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Self-motivated, with excellent time management.
* Ability to prioritize work and manage changing/conflicting priorities.
* Experience working with end users providing both technical support and technical consulting.
* Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with business leaders, management, IS professionals,
* End-users and project teams to understand and communicate issues.
* Strong customer service attitude and focus.
* Previous experience or exposure to software development.
* Experienced in SDLC of Application and Support Services.
* Demonstrated experience working with and supporting multiple applications,
* And developing and supporting web applications.
* Experience working with globally deployed applications and infrastructure an asset.
