Vadis People Services Ltd
  Company Profile
So for almost two decades our clients have been entrusting their competitive edge to us. We’ll work hard to nurture, protect and enhance that edge, through the delivery of the right people, from permanent IT staff, managers and board room executives to interim managers and contractors for the front line.

And we’ve helped just as many clients train, develop and retain such talent as we have helped find it in the first place.

But you choose how you work with us. For some clients we become their ‘virtual’ HR function or an integral part of their management team delivering a total, end to end human capital solution. For others, they simply ‘cherry pick’ the specific capability they need.

  Job Description
( Solution Analyst / Technical Analyst / Systems Architect / Identity Management Architect / Identity Data Architect / Data Integration Architect )

Identity Technical Analyst / Technical Architect ( FIM ) required for this newly created fascinating opportunity to lead in the identification, implementation and support of common identity tools and practices built around Microsoft FIM, for our Public Sector Client, based in Cambridge.

Working in the education sector, our Client runs a broad range of complex heterogeneous systems - some home-grown and some provided by third parties that serve a local, multisite and international community. While it goes without saying that they run the usual HR and Finance applications the complexity quickly becomes apparent when you add Student, Examination, Library, Accommodation, Teaching applications (to name but a few) that support their significant disparate user community.

Establishing and maintaining a common Identity and Access Management across all data sources is a significant challenge and will require someone who is fascinated by Identity Management and can demonstrate a broad systems design / architectural background that should include clear evidence of:
- Education to degree level in a Computing / IT or related subject
- Complex, enterprise level Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Data Management - Integration, identity, sourcing, duplication, security, reporting
- SQL Databases / database management tools
- The Microsoft infrastructure technology stack including
o Active Directory - Single Sign on / Identity Management etc
o Exposure to Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager (FIM) 2010
- Knowledge of .Net would be desirable

This is considered to be a senior position within a small architectural team and as such we are looking for someone who has strong written and verbal communication skills, someone who is comfortable bringing together colleagues, peers, users and suppliers as they lead and influence the Identity Management debate.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in an environment that will encourage you to take on responsibility. Personal growth is very much supported and investment in your training and personal development is positively encouraged.
