  Job Description
Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide end-user support for all aspects of the IT infrastructure.
2. Install and configure new hardware and software in line with defined procedures.
3. Maintain and update user accounts, group membership and security permissions across all systems.
4. Maintain and monitor the security and integrity of all systems and the data contained therein.
5. Maintain and improve existing hardware to ensure maximum availability.
6. Maintain and update documentation and technical knowledge base for end users.
7. Undertake general problem solving.

Essential Criteria

1. Self motivated, professional and career-minded individual.
2. Previous experience of supporting IT software/hardware.
3. Proven experience in implementing systems and policies.
4. Ability to demonstrate commercial awareness.
5. Good verbal and written communication skills at all levels.
6. Ability to establish effective working relations with immediate staff and other staff in the business.
7. Ability to work to own initiative.
8. Ability to write and maintain clear and concise documentation for all systems and procedures.
9. Ability to multitask and manage own workload.
10. ITIL Knowledge

Technical Skills and Experience:

Essential Skills:

* Customer service experience
* Hardware and peripheral troubleshooting
* Group Policy
* Windows XP/2003/2008 Support
* Exchange 2003 (Exchange 2008/ 2010 desirable)
* Active Directory
* Security experience
* Backup technologies (eg. Backup Exec)

Desirable Skills:

* Blackberry and mobile phone troubleshooting
* Avaya ACM4
* VM Ware technologies
