  Job Description
Main Duties:

* Provide leadership and support to the 2nd and 3rd line Operations teams,
* Take ownership and responsibility for solving complex issues and problems
* Develop training, coaching and mentoring programmes for all members of the Operations team
* Monitor the performance of the team to ensure delivery of support is timely and as per agreed service level agreement.
* Establish a "continuous improvement" approach by identifying technical and process gaps and seeking to resolve
* Coach the team to ensure engagement and motivation to deliver a consistently positive customer experience
* Deliver daily/weekly/monthly, measuring all operations KPIs
* Take an active role in Major Incident Management, Problem Management and the Change management processes
* Work with the team members to develop standards and guidelines for managing and maintaining the infrastructure.

You will have:

* Proven experience at a senior technical level and demonstrable team leading experience (with a team of 5 or more), preferably within the Financial Services sector
* Experience of dealing with vendors and clients
* Strong understanding of KPIs and the ability to produce detailed reports based on team performance
* Ability to coach and develop a multi-skilled team
* Demonstrable experience of cross-team relationship building
* ITIL Knowledge
