  Job Description
Role Summary

The Senior IT Project Manager/PMO Manager will implement the right level of governance to monitor and control IT initiatives. This is to ensure the level of risk carried by the business is minimised and there is appropriate levels of visibility of IT performance and trends.

This is a leadership role which may include people management responsibilities and the role also forms part of the IT leadership team, helping to shape and define IT strategy and support the other IT leaders in achieving the department's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Chair and steer the IT project review board, and implementing the appropriate level of control across IT initiatives in collaboration with the change management group
Deliver and chair review of IT dashboards, containing enterprise wide IT KPI's and metrics.
Delivering consistent status reporting to stakeholders
Implement and drive Demand management across IT in collaboration with other IT function leads/heads
Manage IT risk register
Accountability for the IT standards library
Work collaboratively with our project and programme teams to support the delivery of our change portfolios in line with the IT demand plan
Key Skills and Experience

5 years+ PMO and/or Project Management experience
Experience of implementing IT governance and controls
Strong process development and documentation skills
Strong organisational skills
Strong knowledge of Prince2 Methodologies/Prince2 Certified is highly beneficial
ITIL awareness
Strong influencing and negotiation skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
