  Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:

·Work closely with partners to understand business priorities, identify strategic initiatives, and develop effective tactical programs to maximize partner channel revenue.

·Achieve channel sales and revenue goals by ensuring that all channel programs are operating efficiently and maximizing their effectiveness

·Establish and manage all activities that will increase sales through channel partners (distributors, reseller and marketing plans)

·Train and enable channel partners toward high performance by creating and driving enablement activities

·Provide pre-sales assistance on large deals to both direct and partner sales forces

·On going coordination with all teams (marketing, engineering, operations, legal, sales and finance) to identify opportunities and ensure alignment of objectives – either directly or via program

·Communicate and report engagement status

·Continually drive program improvement based on input from field and knowledge of other industry channel programs

·Travel may be required within Europe (approx. 30%)

Position Qualifications:

·Must be able to take on, and manage, projects based on requirements of the companies developing business

·Proven track record in IT and/or PC business

·Proven history of being able to work independently and with cross-functional teams to achieve company and departmental objectives

·Strong business acumen and capable of developing and managing multiple initiatives with the partners

·Ability to discuss technical software capabilities and features from a functional and architectural level

·Proven history of analyzing situations, employing creative and effective decision making to solve problems/achieve results

·Ability to excel in a team environment which emphasizes total cooperation and mutual respect

·Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in order to present to all audiences, build strong relationships and negotiate effectively

·Attention to detail and the ability to follow-through are essential

·Previous experience working with Computer OEMs a definite advantage
