  Job Description
The role will have the following key accountabilities:

Windows server, Citrix and VMware Administration

Responsibility for server administration and monitoring
Finishing final stages of Citrix upgrade – virtualizing severs and maintaining systems
Event log management and proactive server support and administration
Capacity management reporting
Business recovery planning and responsibility for scheduled adherence to published test plans
Ensuring adherence to ITIL processes for problem management and change control
Keeping server documentation and procedures up to date
Application Management

Liaison with key software suppliers to ensure peak system performance and a comprehensive roadmap for application development, upgrades and performance enhancements
Ensure an excellent line of communication to enhance the integration between application support providers
Knowledge skills and experience needed:

Citrix CCAA Xenapp V5/V6 working towards CCEE
MCSA/MCSE
VMware experience – VCP certification is desirable
Experience in an ITIL environment (ITIL Foundation is desirable)
Out of hours on call support
Confident and personal telephone manners
Documentation skills
Working knowledge of Cisco Networking (Desirable)
Experience with Unit 4 Agresso (Desirable)
