  Job Description
Our client are a growing start-up who have already secured strong financial backing and investors and are working in the online media sector.

The Senior Python Developer will be a key part of a small server side development team building and maintaining a number of services including a bespoke API, for internal and external clients.

As a senior member of the team, The Python Developer will need to take responsibility for their own workload which will include gathering requirements from other internal teams, communicate throughout the development process and deliver any solution as efficiently as possible. The senior Python Developer will be expected to write clean, readable code and communicate well within the team, focusing on continuous delivery and making sure that any new functionality built is well tested.

The following summarises the key tasks that the Senior Python Developer can expect day to day.
Design and create RESTful, JSON-based APIs, building applications that interact with relational databases. Having the ability to describe technical concepts to non-technical people would also be a benefit to the successful candidate.

Skills / Experiences
Expert in Python development and with one or more Python web framework, like Django or Flask
Experienced in either TDD, BDD or SDD as well as Continuous Integration tools and methodologies. Community involvement on GitHub, Stack Overflow, BitBucket or open source projects. If you attend DJUGL or the London Python Code Dojo please let us know.
