  Job Description
Programme Manager - Strong Financial Services background. Brighton. East Sussex.

My Client has undertaken a major strategic review of all aspects of its business and the operations that support it. A requirement has been identified for an experienced and capable Programme/Senior Project Manager to join them to manage one or more significant projects (that may form part of small programmes of work where dependencies or common objectives exist).

The individual will work as part of a multi-disciplined team of strategic change professionals and have:

Broad project management skills not just functional or solely IT related. Must be able to understand different methodologies, have depth of financial services experience, be able to demonstrate working at a senior level for a consistent period, had exposure to/ability to present at Board level. As strong leader with, obviously, an engaging style and presence!

Strong and demonstrable experience of managing high profile change projects/programmes against stretching timelines and target milestones,
Strong understanding of AGILE methodologies and relevant experience of managing programmes/large projects where development activity utilises same,
Knowledge and experience of implementing change into core areas of business operations (customer facing) and managing the associated challenges as a member of the management team,
The ability to lead from the front and interact with senior stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and including interaction with external stakeholders as appropriate,
Flexibility in approach to provide support and leadership in other areas of the Strategic Programme as and when appropriate.
