  Job Description
Responsibilities
•Troubleshooting, testing and maintaining the core infrastructure and it's dependencies to ensure it is functional and scalable.
•Enforce policies around backup, DR, security, compliance and change control.
•Monitoring the stability and health of the global infrastructure.
•Develop and maintain processes, tools, and documentation in support of production.
•Suggesting improvements to the existing application stack and implement them across our platform.

You will have experience in;
•Documented experience in delivering infrastructure projects using Amazon Web Services.
•Experience with medium- to large-scale Linux production environments, preferably as part of an SaaS provider.
•Experience with source control such as SVN, Git or similar.
•The ability to work both independently and as part of a team; the ability to work well under pressure and a high reliability.
•A hands-on, can-do attitude and a passion for new technologies.

Technical knowledge and skills
•Experience of automated scripting is essential.
•Ability to define, interpret and develop infrastructure to written requirements and technical specification.
•Knowledge of configuration management tools (Chef/Puppet).
•Understand when to use native AWS products and when to use a native.
•Excellent knowledge of the Linux command line.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
