  Job Description
The role of the Team Lead, Editorial, is to monitor, plan, design.
Review reports generated in the team in close partnership with analysts, editors, and managers.

The successful candidate must be able to think strategically, conceptually.
Operationally, be a leader, work under pressure, and will be responsible for the timely delivery of all research-related content.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the growth and development of team members
Participate in the appraisal process for team members
Create goals and objectives for the team and ensure all team members are informed about them
Responsible for the team consistently delivering reports that adhere to company standards
Create quality metrics and ensure team's adherence to them
Edit research reports for quality and act as a liaison between team members and manager
Contribute ideas and content for process improvement
Undertake training modules for analysts in research writing
Inform supervisor of significant issues or developments identified during quality activities, as well as actions being taken for improvement
Provide support to new team members by running them through induction programs.
Ensuring that they have the necessary knowledge to effectively participate in the team
Provide status reports of all team activities against the program plan/schedule
Act as a backup for the editorial manager in his/her absence
Facilitate problem-solving and collaboration with the team and analysts
Requirements:
Significant senior-level credentials and experience (7+years) in editing.
Handling/mentoring a team of internal editors, leading them through periods of extreme pressure
Excellent command over the English language (grammar and punctuation).
Experience in a formal writing environment
Proficiency in American English
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
An eye for detail, with efficient/strong proofreading and rewriting skills
Ability to multi-task in a stressful environment.
Handle multiple assignment at a time, and meet tight deadlines on an everyday basis
Strong leadership qualities within a team environment
Excellent planning and project-management skills
Master's Degree in interactive media, journalism, communications, marketing, creative writing, or equivalent experience with excellent people management skills
