  Job Description
A leading Investment Bank requires a strong technical Java Developer to work within the FX arena. The opportunity will allow the Java Developer to face off with the front office in a faced paced Agile environment working on a long term Greenfield project. The Java Developer will be building Greenfield components to replace existing legacy code applying to the Pricing, Risk Management and Settlements. Along with designing technology solutions on different scales the Java Developer will help support the FX Services group. You will be involved in the full development lifecycle from analysis through to support, this a key role and will allow the Java Developer plenty of opportunity to progress their career within a leading Investment Bank.


Strong technical Java Development experience
Multithreaded environment experience
FX product knowledge is very advantageous
Co-ordinating systems integration testing
Comfortable with all OO best practices and use of Java design patterns
Java Swing (Not essential, as you will be able to learn this on the job)
Strong database knowledge.
Comfortable with table set up, basic optimization and fluency in SQL (preferably Oracle)
Financial experience
