  Job Description
My client is looking to recruit an ITIL SME - Service Management Consultant to shape, implement and lead the function.

* Chair of the monthly governance meetings which ensures policies, processes and quality plan are being managed. Oversee the management and escalation of Tech Ops risks, issues and waivers
* Ensure all audits taking place across Tech Ops are documented in the Tech Ops audit plan, are taking place, findings are shared appropriately and all actions are logged and tracked to completion by the respective process/service owners.
* To ensure the integrity of the integrated processes are maintained through change
* To ensure alignment of the IS Tech Ops processes to ITIL, policy, and business goals, and other adopted or useful frameworks
* Process governance, assurance and compliance
* Support the definition of organisation structure and roles in a way which is consistent with ITIL v3 and the process model
* Ensuring, through the GandA function and the wider Tech Ops team, that process is properly supported by procedure documentation
* To lead the impact assessment and design of new processes and ensure the integration of them is planned and supported by the necessary individuals from the company and Suppliers.
* To ensure that process, policy, procedural and process related documentation is current, accurate, and published
* To coordinate changes in process and all the downstream impacts of those changes
* Maintain a schedule for and carry out policy and process audits
* Manage the Governance Framework Plans (e.g. Risk plan, Audit plan, Communications plan, Performance plan, Organisation plan, Document Plan)
* Undertake process compliance audits
* Provide advice and guidance on the development and implementation of the Measurement and Reporting Framework
* Use, create (where agreed) and provide input to the suite of management reports. Ensure errors and inconsistencies are identified and removed before publishing.
* To coordinate process related measures with the Operational Intelligence team: create insights to help improve the performance of IS Tech Ops; Propose process improvements or management actions to support the achievement of IS Tech Ops business goals

* Knowledge of the typical IT infrastructure
* Strong understanding of business process and IT Service Integration principles
* Strong and demonstrable Process architecture engineering, design, implementation and improvement experience
* The successful candidate will be qualified to, or nearing attainment of the ITIL v3 'Expert' certification and currently have obtained the ITIL Manager certificate
* Experience in manipulating data to produce usable and pragmatic information and competent in the use of the MS Office suite of products
* Strong analytical skills to make decisions from data sources and historical information
