  Job Description
Main Purpose:
1. The tech lead cum architect required to understand multiple applications developed in multiple technologies in Education domain.
2. Will understand the new requirements and come up with the design for the new implementation or existing implementation to upgrade, that suits for multi-layered architecture, service oriented architecture in Java and various frameworks and node.js / jQuery implementations
3.Will make sure to deliver end to end implementations of new requirement by coordinating Business, Development, Testing and Releasing Teams in 2 weeks iteration (Sprint) model
4.Will involve in assisting or revolving production issues for critical applications by coordinating both offshore and onshore teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Person should take ownership of functional and technical aspects of various applications in education domain.
2.Person should able to take responsibilities to deliver design artefacts such as Technical design documents. based on story assigned in JIRA or similar tool.
3.Person should be able to provide implementation or assist developer(s) to implement end to end solution for the story defined in jIRA, in a 2 weeks iterations (Sprint) Agile model
4.Person should be able to deliver on time by coordinating multiple teams both at offshore and onshore.
5. Person should be able to follow the Agile Methodology and procedures.
6.Person should posses extensive experience in coordinating release engineers and developers for the deployments from Dev environment to QA, and from QA to production etc.
7.Person should have the understanding about PDMS, CRs and procedures for approval etc, for smooth release from offshore.
8.Person should able to follow up on issue or task tracking tool like JIRA
9.Person should be comfortable with Agile Procedures such as daily stand-up meetings, daily reporting and client interactions.
10. Person should be good team player and avoid all conflicts during execution of project(s).

Technical skills required:
1. minimum 6 to 8 yrs exp in JAVA/J2EE integration technologies and frameworks, experience involving all the phases of software development life cycle.
2.Excellent development skills to develop web applications,services, multi-threaded server side implementations using JAVA/J2EE, SOA, spring, Hibernate, WebServices, REST,JQuery,node frameworks and backend RDBMS skills either MS SQL or Oracle.
3.Proven experience in the use of Eclipse, Maven, Junit tools.
4.Well versed with SQL Queries , stored procedures and SQL functions.
5. Good analytical skills and quick in grabbing functional aspects of many applications at a time.
6. Should Posses good communication skills to communicate during sprint stand up meetings with team members at offshore and client at onshore.
7. Good coordination skills to coordinate with developers and customers for the smooth delivery of sprint tasks.
8. Good behavioral skills to excel in software development projects execution.
