Sill Sets:
* Database architecture and design with strong hold on SQL programming skills.
* Database Security, Replication, Backup and monitoring, DB Partitioning.
* Indexes, Triggers, Cursors, Query Optimization
* ERD, binlog, InnoDB and MyISAM
* Dealing with Locks in relation to MySQL for system under heavy load
* Percona Database Drivers
* Exposure to large sized databases - 1 TB of data
* Should have Exposure to WEB base Projects
* Strong understanding of SDLC
* Exposure to Agile development methodologies is an advantage
Job Role:
* Design and implement database for projects, as per defined business requirement.
* Determine database requirements, create logical models, build physical models and plan system
architectures.
* Work with development team to optimize overall application design, using performance data
modeling, data base design and query reviews of existing business systems.
* Coordinate with network and system operations teams to resolve problems with database systems,
capacity planning and risk management.
